I have been working on getting our bedroom put together for a while . A lot of the pieces are found and reclaimed .I love to go on the hunt for things and when i find them i just tuck them away and say " I will use it somewhere sometime." Well this was one of those times.

I am a great collector of all things . I love going to thrift shops to see what i can find . I am torn between two loves Primitive and Vintage . I have been just playing around in my little building putting a few displays together .So i thought i would share with you a bit of my vintage side.

Our PEI Trip

Had so much fun while in PEI at my brothers cottage.It was a first for our dogs Ellie and Townes and they had a blast .

Beautiful Sperry House

This beautiful house is located in Petite Riviere Nova Scotia . It had remained in the Sperry family for over one hundred years until 2010 after being sold to long time friends of ours. My husband and i have the great honor of caring for this grand old place. It is being run as a summer rental home at the present. A local team look after booking rentals Cottage Connections . Priceless

This is my Great grandmothers quilt given to me by my Father about 20 years ago . It had been tucked away in a trunk for years but i just cant do that ...i have to display it so i can enjoy it.

Summer Flowers

 I love to take old and make it new again . The little red cupboard use to be a kitchen drawer .

Now that spring has arrived we are very busy around here getting things ready for summer . The beautiful Sperry House awaits the return of summer guests. The gardens are starting to fill out and soon will be filled with colour.

Years ago i worked as a nurse assistant in a home for the aged and i remember a little lady that use to sing the hymen  "a church in the wild wood" Although i cant remember her name i will always remember her song.
