Beautiful Sperry House

This beautiful house is located in Petite Riviere Nova Scotia . It had remained in the Sperry family for over one hundred years until 2010 after being sold to long time friends of ours. Priceless

This is my Great grandmothers quilt given to me by my Father about 20 years ago . It had been tucked away in a trunk for years but i just cant do that ...i have to display it so i can enjoy it.

 I love to take old and make it new again . The little red cupboard use to be a kitchen drawer .

Now that spring has arrived we are very busy around here getting things ready for summer . The beautiful Sperry House awaits the return of summer guests. The gardens are starting to fill out and soon will be filled with colour.

Years ago i worked as a nurse assistant in a home for the aged and i remember a little lady that use to sing the hymen  "a church in the wild wood" Although i cant remember her name i will always remember her song.

I have recently taken a space at Sandra's Country Treasures in Berwick Nova Scotia and i am really enjoying it . I am able to use my creativity and use up a lot of old stuff that i have collected over the years and turn it all into one of a kind pieces .
